Capitalising on the results from the project, the workshop will foster peer to peer knowledge exchange between regional stakeholders and the partners involved in the Sinfonia project.

FULL PROGRAMME

The event will be the opportunity to share insights on what makes a smart city and, more importantly, shade light on the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead of it:

  • Solutions and challenges for large scale refurbishment of social housing buildings;
  • Holistic approaches to energy supply;
  • Citizen and stakeholder engagement;
  • Benefits and Co-benefits of urban development projects.

After the workshop itself, participants will have the opportunity to visit two sites. First the Institute of Building Biology + Sustainability, built with highly efficient eco-materials and enjoying on-site solar PV generation, and then the local brewery Flötzinger Bräu, equipped with its own 420 kWp solar PV generation system for own consumption.

The detailed programme can be downloaded through the links above and below.

The event will be held in German and English with simultaneous translation. Participation is free of charge but registration is mandatory.
