As part of the Rosenheim’s railway station renovation project, a bike parking space with around 900 parking spots will be devoloped at the Eastern side of Südtiroler Platz.  A two-storey bike rack system, equipped with damping systems and gas pressure springs, will be installed to optimise the space in the new parking spot. To facilitate the storage of personnal items, dedicated lockers will also be integrated to the bike parking space. Additionally, charging points for electric bikes will be installed at the entrance of the parking space.

This new bike parking concept is still under development, and the construction phase should begin around March 2019, for an opening planned at the end of the year.
